Heather Rowell is a mountain girl living in Houston.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Heather received her  Masters of Architecture degree from Rice University in 2009. She completed her undergraduate education at North Carolina State University in 2002, earning a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture. In 2011, she partnered with Jesse Hager and Seth Borland to form CONTENT in Houston, Texas. She has worked for Brett Zamore Design and helped launch Hometta, an online architectural plans website.  Heather was a project manager for Cherry Huffman Architects in Raleigh, NC and oversaw the design and development of several educational facilities. She has taken design studios in Prague and Paris and was a 2007 Rice Design Alliance Initiatives for Houston Grant recipient.
