Pop-Up Retail

The growing trend of pop-up retail is not a surprising one. The combination of an instable economy and fluctuating market trends often makes opening a retail establishment  a risky endeavor.  A pop-up store has the ability to temporarily occupy a space, serve as a barometer for consumer need in an area, create marketing buzz, and yield quick returns with very little investment or commitment on behalf of the owner.  Depending on the success of the pop-up location, a mobile store has the flexibility to morph into something more suitable for the target client-base, be incorporated into a fixed space, or easily relocated to another retail test bed.

In this case, the client wanted a pop-up store design that would serve as mini satellite store for their existing flagship.  The design units break down into three parts for greater mobility.  Each unit is two sided and together they showcases the breadth products and services offered at the larger retail location.  The concept can be used for a tradeshows, kiosks, or as fixtures in a temporary storefront. When not being used as a pop-up, the can design easily be incorporated into the space of the client’s main showroom.
